That was important to me. Summary: The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks, tells the story of how an ordinary man, who has neglected his wife and finds it hard to show her how he feels, fights to save his stale marriage. I loved the way he greets Wilson and the swan in the story. At first I was worried it was going to be lame because it makes it seem like it's going to be another story about what a jerk the main guy is and how he's neglecting his wife.
Our children, it seems, have turned out well despite me. Noah, however, never gives up on his theory and insists that it is his dear beloved wife. She replies quite plainly: I guess I would have tried to enjoy it more while it was happening 116. Copyright c 2003 by Nicholas Sparks All rights reserved. In this book we get to read about a couple who has been married for 30 years and while they had an amazing marriage, with time it has become nothing as it used to be. I was waiting for a conflict but there was none whatsoever. Still, i was totally surprised! We have three children, and while neither of us would trade the experience of parenthood for the riches of Tutankhamen, the sleepless nights and frequent trips to the hospital when they were infants left both of us exhausted and often overwhelmed.
It's like they think it won't ever change. These, I must add, were frightening questions to consider--with answers that were possibly even more frightening--for until that moment, I'd always assumed that Jane was as content with me as I'd always been with her. Jane and Wilson could be absolutely anyone and to see the way he goes about to fix their marriage is very touching. At twenty-seven, Anna is the oldest. So at that point I decided to watch …. He spends his days sitting by the lake feeding a swan and now he's in hospital insisting he's all right. How does Nicholas Sparks come up with this stuff 2 stars is a bit harsh, I'd give it another half if I could. Actually it will be really hard to rate this book as I feel I loved it but it wasn't as deep and tragically as most Spark's books usually are. I must admit his books make me cry, but I still love to read them! However, the husband and wife are drifting apart. I didn't see it coming! However, this is not my favourite of his works. Not a single person dies in here which is usually how Spark's books go. Neglecting his wife and missing his children grow up.
I learned, for instance, that while wounds can be inflicted easily upon those we love, it's often much more difficult to heal them. Jane is, after all, the kind of person I always wished to be. His newest book, Two by Two, will be published on October 4, 2016. He was wise and loving in this novel, whereas I found him a bit desperate in The Notebook. I decided to choose a book in the airport before boarding the plane.

The surprise at the end was gorgeous, and I sat there with a warmed heart and a smile on my face. For the past thirty years, I've worked with the law firm of Ambry, Saxon and Tundle in New Bern, North Carolina, and my income--while not extravagant--was enough to place us firmly in the upper middle class. If I glanced toward her, she'd smile complicitly, enjoying this game of ours. It was basically this guy who was making calls the whole year to get things in order. While I enjoyed everything being happy and nice, I missed those What an amazing read, I enjoyed every page.
I don't want to spoil it for others, so that's all I'll say. There's another side to this so why lay blame? He is absolutely endearing here, spending his days feeding and talking to a lone female swan who in herself becomes a character. Still, however, the idea stayed with me.
